Hey Guys! Congratulations to you for the debut album “Barbed Wire Metal! Please describe the reactions to the CD so far.
The reactions from the fans, press & metal followers in general have been really great! The music seems to be travelling itself pretty nicely all around the world and we’re getting all kind of kick ass reviews from every corner of the earth. It’s good to finally have a product out there which is painting our journey in the heavy metal industry.
Please tell us about the developing process of “Barbed Wire Metal”. It is the first professional recording for you.
It was a great experience although at the same time it was a very lengthy and sometime frustrating experience. We wanted our first album to be one that kicked you right in the nuts from the word go and thats what we achieved with hard work and from the guidance of Ermin Hamidovc @ Systematic Productions.
The whole recording process took about 2 years because we wanted everything to be absolutely perfect and by the end of it we were extremely happy with the results and hope the world can now enjoy some true tunes!
The songs remind me of traditional Heavy Metal as it was played back then in the 80s. How would you define your musical style?
Yeah we’d definitely define it as traditional heavy metal.
The only era of metal we love is the 80’s era so that’s where all our favourite bands and influences come from. We’re in no way trying to copy that style of music but we can’t help but being influenced by bands like Priest or Manowar.
What about the recording process of the new album? Any stories or curiosities to report?
Still writing the new album which but I would imagine we would tackle it exactly like the debut release.
We want it to top that album so we have alot of hard work still to come before we even think about the writing or recordings of the songs.
It will no doubt be kick ass though!
What are your favourite songs on “Barbed Wire Metal”?
It’s really hard to choose because there all so different and we put our heart and soul into every song. The songs are at least 5-7 years old each so you could imagine how many times they’ve been altered haha. If the album was all mixed into one song that would be our favourite haha!
Please explain us some of the stories that you tell us on "Barbed Wire Metal"!
The main thing we tell people is that we had the time of our lives not only recording the album but playing it live and writing it.
We spent our whole high school years writing the album and then from 20-21 years of age recording the album so we do have metal in our souls.
Theres no greater feeling than writing a strong metal album.
The cover artwork of the new album reminds me of thrash metal bands in the early 90s. Who draw it and who had the idea for this eye catcher?
The artist was the legendary Ed Repka who did basically all the best thrash covers in the 80’s-90’s.
He did artwork for Megadeth, Death, Vio-lence, Possession, Sanctuary and most of the leading thrash bands through the 80’s-90’s. Now his extended to more recent bands like Toxic Holocaust, Ravage, Holy Grail, Merciless Death and Hirax.
With a list of bands like that we couldn’t think of any better person to have done the cover for the album.
Let`s talk about your plans in future. New songs are great to be performed live. Any chances to welcome you in Europe or Germany??
Ofcourse! If everything goes to plan we will be in Europe in April/May this year with the first stop being Germany! Hopefully we’ll be able to play some killer shows as we know the home of metal is Germany.
